Deaf Woman Hears for the First Time

A breaking story about a recent successful cochlear implant is trending all over the news, from the Telegraph to Facebook to BBC 6 Music. Jo Milne was born deaf; roughly 40 years later this week, the whole world is celebrating with her as she hears for the first time.
